The Position:
In this technician role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC equipment to ensure our customers' homes stay cool and comfortable. This is a true technician position – there's no sales pressure, just the satisfaction of fixing problems and keeping our customers happy. Over 95% of the service calls you will run will be covered under parts and labor agreements, so you just perform the repairs and keep the customer happy!
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in residential AC units (under 6 tons) in both water source and split system applications.
- Perform preventative maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance.
- Provide excellent customer service, clearly explaining issues and solutions to homeowners.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- EPA 608 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years of experience diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC equipment
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
